| Comments: | Hi, Just sending more information to update honour roll etc. I enlisted 8 Aug 1984 and went to WRAAC School Mosman. We wore ‘giggle’ dresses and razor sharp greens. For PT, yellow t-shirts with the WRAAC badge printed on them. Our buttons had the land mass Australia on them until we – ‘marched out' to our Corps initial employment training, where we were issued corps buttons, hat and lapel badges to place upon our lime green Prue Acton designed uniforms (dress with black shoes and white gloves – no weapons on parade). I was sent to RASIGS receiving my ‘Jimmy’, very close to Parade day. We were advised that we were the last lot of general entry (GE) recruits to go through WRAAC School, with all next female GEs going through Kapooka with the lads. This was the final parade for Recruits, which was to be televised. The OCS girls paraded with us and we had great fun practising for the final WRAAC School parade.
