60th ANNIVERSARY 11th/12th/13th February 2011

The weekend of 11th / 12th / 13th February 2011 will see the 60th Anniversary Weekend being held in Sydney.
Plans are already underway, and we are hoping to make this a Reunion Weekend for many of our Interstate members
to make the pilgrimage to join their mates for a wonderful weekend of memories and happy times.
I personally have been advising people from my old unit 30 WRAAC Barracks at Mt Martha, that I would like to see as many there for a Reunion as we can muster.

Good to hear from ladies, re: 2011 Contact List for updates.
I assume you have heard about the YHA accommodation at The Rocks,
which we hope will become a temporary WRAAC Barracks for anyone who is happy with this style.
Patty Bartrim has kindly taken on the role of contact person / co-ordinator for that site,
which is convenient to Wynyard for train connections to the airport and bus / taxi service to Mosman.

LOST FRIEND
I have a friend who is trying to contact an old friend from the Vietnam Days.
His name is Des Hunt and he served with 2 RAR in Townsville in the late 1960's.
He went to Vietnam with them around 1968 and she would like to make contact with him.
